Albion is situated at the intersection of Two State Highways. State Highway 9 is a north-south route through the state, and State Highway 8 beginnings in Albion and extends eastward to Ohio.

State Highway 8 and 9 connect Albion to the following major transportation arteries:
U.S. 6 4 miles (N)
East-West Toll Road 20 miles (N)
Interstate 69 17 miles (E)
U.S. 33 8 miles (S)
U.S. 30 17 miles (W)
These major arteries provide local industry and commerce excellent transportation routes to the major trade centers in the Midwest and other sections of the nation.

Albion has four truck lines and one parcel service serving the community on a daily basis for all Fort Wayne Truck terminals. These service are provided by:

Elway Express, Inc. , Fort Wayne
Scott Freight Service, Fort Wayne

Gage Transport, Albion

Albion is supplied with east-west freight service by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and CSX Transportation Corp. This service is on their main line from Chicago, Illinois, to New York City.

Regularly Scheduled commercial air passenger service is available at Baer Field in Fort Wayne only thirty-six (36) miles from Albion.
Smith Field in Fort Wayne, About twenty-nine (29) miles south of Albion, is used for smaller aircraft.
The runways are paved and lighted at Smith Field. Industries in the area, that own their own planes, use this airport.
A municipal airfield is located at Kendallville, only twelve (12) miles from Albion.
Unicon service is available at this field with paved and lighted runways.
